TO KNOW ITALIAN ADVANCED WINES
This publication lists only high quality wines, that emerge from
the average. The judgment and the presentation are by the producer
with the exception of what happens generally, where the author
marks the products according to their appraisals of merit. Since
I think that the best judge of a wine is the producer,
who follows its evolution from the vine to the bottle, until
reaching the consumer, I do not intend to classify the wine with
stars of quality according to my judgement. In fact only the
producer, the cellar man or the vine grower can evaluate a fine
wine, with qualities and defects in the minimal shadings. This
is the only wine, born, grown and matured in a farm, subordinated
to repeated assays before being put in sale. A wine is like a
son you observe, you study and love. It must be always the best
one, second to none.

This
work had been conceived from my husband, Gianni Bonacina, writer
and author of numerous enological and gastronomical books. After
two years from its dead, I resume its notes and recovery its
ideas. I hope that this job can be appreciated from his old friends
