Designation: Red Trentino DOC
Vineyards: a typical Bordeaux mixture of grapes: 70% of
Cabernet (Sauvignon and Franc) and 30% of Merlot.
Production area: The slopes of the hills on the right
and left side of the Adige river characterized from clay-calcareous
soil and optimal exposure
Colour: intense red ruby with shadings tending to ochre.
Bouquet: clearly, soft spiced with a clear ether component.
Taste: dry, balanced, bodied and wide structured, with
light goudronné end.
Alcohol content:13%
Vinification and aging: fermented with maceration on the
peels for 13-14 days, before refined in small inox vats, therefore
aged in Slavonia oak barrels, aromatic wood that exalts the bouquet.
It refines for some years In bottle, catching up itself elevates
levels of equilibrium and structure.
Gastronomical coupling: brazed rump steak, duck in the
oven, seasoned vezzena cheese.
Service temperature: 20 / 22°
Vintage years available: 1998
The image that better represents Cavit, a great
composed truth from many small handicraft truths, is the image
of the screw that produces grapes of single quality if the roots
and the others parts of the plant carry out its own role.
The objective today is that one of the origins: the continuous
search of the quality. Near Maso Toresella, as an example, new
oenological roads are experienced. While the spread of the culture

The center of Ravina, that accommodates the "Wine cellar
of the Wine" and the "Wine cellar of the Sparkling
wine", has been equipped of a modern system of bottling
that has obtained the certification of quality according to ISO
9002.
It guarantees the seriousness for the consumer and it pursues
with passion the undertaken road.
For this the prizes are numerous and the greater international
associations continue to confer acknowledgments to the best products
realized from Cavit.

SYNTHESIS.
Cavit
is a society cooperative of second degree that produces and commercializes
wines and sparkling wines of the Trentino.
Foundation: the first embryo of Cavit is born in 1950
with the name of Consortium of the Social Wine cellars.
Associate wine cellars: the cooperative groups 13 of the
15 social wine cellars presents on the Trentino territory: Agrarian
Association Riva del Garda, Avio, Isera, La Vinicola di Aldeno,
Lavis - Sorno and Salorno, Mori - Colli Zugna, Nomi, Rotaliana
Cooperative, Roverè della Luna, S.A.V. Society Agriculturists
Vallagarina, Tobino, La Meridiana, Valle di Cembra.

Surface: through the 13 associate wine cellars Cavit benefits
of a territory of 7.000 hectares, approximately 70% of the wine
production of the Trentino.
